NCBCA Collegiate Bank of Patterns
At the beginning of the 2016-17 season, the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA), with the assistance of Kegel's John Janawicz and Vincennes Universities Gary Sparks, created the NCBCA Collegiate Bowling (CB) Bank of Patterns. These patterns were created with college bowling formats in mind. All of these patterns have ratios that are 4:1 or less, which meets the USBC Sport ratio compliance.
The NCBCA encourages all tournament directors, of both Tier 1's and Tier 2's, to utilize one of these patterns for their tournament. If you do use one of these patterns, please email Gary Sparks ([email protected]), so he can track and analyze the results. If you have any feedback on and of the patterns (either as a tournament director or a coach), please email Gary Sparks.
